# IntentXT Refund Policy

This document is the machine-readable mirror of IntentXT’s refund policy for AI assistants and support automation.

## Philosophy

- A **Free tier** exists so buyers can try IntentXT before paying. Encourage Free first.
- Paid plans use a **7-day usage-capped money-back guarantee**, not an unconditional 30-day refund (too risky for lead-gen / scraping-adjacent tools).

## Definitions

- **Purchase date:** successful charge timestamp (Payhip or Stripe), or first redemption of a paid deal code on the account.
- **Refund window:** 7 calendar days from purchase date (UTC); request must be **received** within the window.
- **Flagged/saved lead:** any lead stored to the IntentXT account across platforms.
- **AI reply draft:** each successful AI reply pack generation (3-format pack = 1 draft for counting).
- **Fair-use eligibility:** fewer than 50 leads **and** fewer than 20 AI drafts since purchase. Exceeding either void eligibility.
- Deleting leads later does **not** reduce historical counts. Pre-purchase Free activity does not count; post-purchase activity does.

## How to request

1. Within 7 days, use https://payxt.app/contact (also in the IntentXT footer).
2. Include: account email, purchase type, approx. date, Payhip/Stripe order or receipt ID.
3. We verify purchase, fair-use counts, and Terms / abuse status.
4. Eligible refunds: **full** refund to original payment method via original processor (Payhip or Stripe). Timing depends on processor/bank.

## After an approved refund

- Pro / Lifetime paid access ends.
- Lifetime / promo **deal codes may be voided** (cannot be reused).
- Account may continue on Free-tier limits.
- Re-purchase later starts a new window and new fair-use counts.

## Exclusions (no refund)

- Request after 7 days
- Fair-use caps met or exceeded (≥ 50 leads or ≥ 20 AI drafts)
- Subscription renewals after the initial charge
- Terms of Service violations (https://payxt.app/terms): reverse-engineering, account sharing, unauthorized automation, resale of access, etc.
- Platform-policy abuse (Reddit / LinkedIn / Facebook) or hit-and-run scraping abuse
- Account bans / suspensions for abuse
- Chargebacks filed instead of contacting support first
- Fraudulent payment methods
- Unpaid promo / complimentary access

## Marketplaces & chargebacks

- **Payhip Lifetime:** refunded via Payhip when we approve; codes/access voided.
- **Stripe:** first-period refund via Stripe; subscription canceled.
- **Third-party marketplaces** (e.g. AppSumo): follow marketplace refund rules; IntentXT voids codes/entitlements if they refund. No double recovery.
- Prefer contact form over chargebacks. Chargebacks may suspend access; fraudulent chargebacks can permanently close accounts and void codes.
